VP, Deputy Counsel: Strategic Development and Innovation
Alexa regularly serves as an extension of her clients’ in-house legal teams, helping business and legal stakeholders identify and allocate risk, structure complex transactions, and develop practical solutions that advance business objectives. Her clients include Fortune 100 companies, global automotive manufacturers, airlines, national healthcare organizations, financial services companies, and companies operating across the retail, logistics, distribution, and technology sectors.

Alexa also counsels clients on the rapidly evolving legal and commercial issues surrounding artificial intelligence. She frequently works with clients to address AI-related data use and training restrictions, intellectual property ownership, confidentiality, privacy and cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, warranties, indemnification, and liability allocation. She has presented on AI risk allocation and the use of generative AI in the legal profession, including at the ACC and NAMWOLF.
Before joining Patrick Law Group in 2021, Alexa served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Fiserv, Inc., where she was lead legal counsel for the Community Bank segment of Fiserv’s Bank Solutions business and served on its leadership team. She also served as lead counsel for a Fiserv digital banking solution and negotiated sophisticated technology and commercial transactions. Earlier in her career, Alexa was an attorney for Derco Aerospace, a Lockheed Martin company, where her work included international commercial transactions, supply and distribution agreements, and anti-bribery and FCPA compliance.
Alexa earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she was named to the Dean’s List and served as a judicial intern to Justice Annette Ziegler of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, with a minor in Architecture, from the University of Southern California, graduating with honors and earning recognition as a USC Renaissance Scholar.
Alexa is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and NAMWOLF. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys coaching her daughter’s softball team and spending time with her family.
