Senior Counsel
During her in-house career, Marshall served as the principal lawyer to almost every area of the business and supervised the team providing legal support for all of the US business. Marshall’s deepest experiences are in the areas of licensing, research, and development transactions and manufacturing and supply agreements, having drafted and negotiated hundreds of agreements in those areas. Prior to going in-house, Marshall had extensive experience in commercial litigation at two international firms, King & Spalding and Troutman Sanders (now Troutman Pepper), which greatly influenced her approach to negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.
Marshall graduated 6th in her class in 1994 at the Marshall Wythe School of Law, the College of William & Mary, where she received numerous honors, including the George Wythe Award. Marshall has been very active in her community in various community organizations and has served in numerous leadership roles, including serving as the chair of several boards of directors. She is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett, Class of 2010.
Her greatest passion is for working with homeless families with children, and she has served for 13+ years on the Board of Directors and in other capacities at Rainbow Village, Inc., an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of families experiencing homelessness by working with them along their path to economic self-sufficiency while providing them with stable housing. Marshall was very honored when she and her husband, Tom, received the 2022 Joel P. Hudson Humanitarian Award from Rainbow Village, which recognized them for the gifts of their time and treasure to a number of nonprofits and community organizations in Gwinnett County, including to Rainbow Village, United Way of Atlanta, Leadership Gwinnett, the City of Lawrenceville Architectural Review Board, and the Hudgens Center for Art & Learning.
Marshall resides in Atlanta with her husband and three pets and is within easy striking distance to four of their five children and their families, including four of their seven grandchildren and three grand-pets.
We seek to understand your business and your goals in order to draft and negotiate agreements that will help protect and grow your business and achieve your goals.
