Opportunity for an experienced transactional attorney to work in an innovative virtual law firm to draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements for large corporations.
Role will require:
Minimum of 10 years of legal transactional experience required, with demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and contracts including technology, procurement, and outsourcing. Experience with construction contracts is a plus;
Prior experience with an in house legal department, with large law firm experience preferred;
Good oral and written communication skills to work collectively and effectively with in-house lawyers and business representatives of large companies to complete and close transactions, and with others in the firm;
Demonstrated ability to prepare, negotiate and close a large number of contracts for multiple clients;
Proactive, self-starter and self-director who can work independently without supervision in a virtual environment, and handle multiple projects;
Demonstrated team work and collaboration in a professional setting within culture of client service;
Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills, with ability to respond quickly and meet requirements without management;
Ability to produce work product with minimal assistance including proficient and self-sufficient in MS Office suite products and ability to use technology to accomplish work and communicate in a virtual environment;
Ability to assist with inside sales and support business development and sales to new clients; and
Attendance and travel to 1 to 2 conferences and 2 to 3 client meetings per year as requested.
